State of Tennessee
This Indenture made this seventh day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen [1813] between
William Morrell, Jonathan Morrell, Nathan Morrell, Caleb Morrell, Martha Morrell, descendants from and heirs
and John Blevins son of William Blevins commonly called Colonel another heir by marriage
and Samuel Millard another heir by marriage
of Jonathan Morrell, deceased of Sullivan County and State of Tennessee on the one part and William Odell [probably son of Caleb Odell] of the other part.
Witnesseth - that the said William, Jonathan, Nathan , Caleb and Martha Morrell descendants and heirs and John Blevins & Samuel Millard heirs by marriage as aforesaid do for and in consideration of the sum of twenty two dollars to each in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby individually acknowledged, bargained, sold and relinquished to the said William Odell as aforesaid his heirs and assigns forever all and each of their individual shares or annuitys of a certain tract or part of a tract of land containing 59 Acres conveyed to Jonathan Morrell deceased by John Shelby the third including the place where William Odell now liveth, lying on the South side of Holston River in the County of Sullivan and State of Tennessee -
Beginning at a White Oak, Whence North 82W 126 Poles to a White Oak on Stephen Wallins line, thence N 84 Poles to a Sugar Tree & Beach on the River bank
thence NNE 44 Poles to Thomas Morrell's Corner Maple and White Oak,
thence South 45 E 68 Poles to said Morrell's Corner Poplar and Hickry then with his
line S62E 80 Poles to a Stake, thence a straight line to the Beginning.
Containing 59 Acres of land, be the same more or less, with all and singularly the Appurtances whatsoever to the said Tract of land belonging or appertaining and the uvention and uventions rents and issues thereof and all the Estate right Title interest property Claim and demand of them
William Morrell, Jonathan Morrell, Nathan , Caleb and Martha Morrell, John Blevins and Samuel Millard heirs by marriage and thus heirs of and to the same and every part and
parcel thereof within law or equity to have and to hold this part of the fifty nine acres of land with the appurtances unto the said William Odel his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful title claim and demand, and will warrant and defend by their presents to him the said William Odell as
aforesaid in witness whereof we the said Jonathan Morrell's heirs hath hereunto set our hands and Seals, the day and year first above written, Signed, sealed and delivered in the presents of us.
